Rings and Factorizations 2027
The Conference on Rings and Factorizations 2027 will take place from July 12 to 16, 2027 at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics (FMF) of the University of Ljubljana in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
This meeting continues the traditional biennial series of ring theory conferences previously held in Graz in 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2021, 2023, and 2025. The 2027 conference marks 15 years since the first meeting in Graz. It will be the first edition hosted outside of Graz, but will otherwise follow the established format of our series. We hope to welcome many returning participants as well as new attendees in Slovenia in 2027.

- Dedekind, Prüfer, Krull, and Mori rings and their generalizations,
- Noncommutative rings and algebras,
- Rings of integer-valued polynomials,
- Topological aspects in ring theory,
- Factorization theory in rings and semigroups,
- Module theory and linear algebra over rings.
Special Session
The conference will include a Special Session honoring Alfred Geroldinger on the occasion of his retirement.
